NVBF Doles Out N500k Each For Zonal U-17 Beach Volleyball Camps Across South



*Nimrod settles payment of resource persons




It its bid towards ensuring the development of new talents at the grassroots, the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) has doled out N500,000 to each Zonal representative on the NVBF Board in the South  to organize U-17 camp for budding players.




According to information sighted by our correspondent, the camp which features various drills have commenced in the South South Zone on March 9 and would be ending March  15.


A similar  camp will commence  in the South East from March  16 to 22 in Anambra, while that of the  South West will hold in Ibadan from April  6 to 12 at   CRIN.


t was gathered that at the  South-South Under 17 training camp in Yenagoa,  Bayelsa,  instructors impacted basic drills and skills on the kid's.


At the end of the days session, Mr Ama-Ebi made a  cash donation of N50,000 to spice up the mock competition.


Highlight of the day was the presentation of Beach Volleyball equipment to the Bayelsa State Beach Volleyball Association by  Maj. Gen. Gagariga (rtd).


Top Coaches,  Kayode Ajilore and John Iwerima were on ground in Bayelsa  to kick start the training programme for South South on March 10.


Meanwhile, the expenses of the resource persons has been bankrolled by the  NVBF President, Engineer Musa Nimrod.
