Police Zone 12 Bauchi Mark's 2026 World Physiotherapy Day With ATBUTH Experts




The Nigeria Police Force, Zone 12 Headquarters Bauchi has joined the rest of the world to mark the 2026 World Physiotherapy Day. 

A statement by the Zone 12 PPRO, Bauchi, SP Jalige Mohammed, made available to our correspondent yesterday, said that  the event held at the Zone 12 Headquarters in collaboration with Physiotherapy experts from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital, ATBUTH, Bauchi.

This year’s theme is: *"Role of Physiotherapy and Physical Activity in the Prevention, Management and Rehabilitation of Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke."*

The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 12, AIG Vungmoh SM Kwaimo said the program is aimed at promoting the health and fitness of officers for effective service delivery.

The ATBUTH team conducted free blood pressure checks, health talks, and practical exercises on stroke prevention and rehabilitation. 

Both institutions pledged to sustain the partnership for quarterly health outreaches.
