Kaduna Volleyball Association Mourns Ekene, Says He Was A Lover Of Sports



The Chairman of the Kaduna State Volleyball Association (KADSVA), Engineer Musa Nimrod on behalf of the board,  has expressed deep sadness over the demise of Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams.



This was contained in a statement signed by Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, made available on Thursday July 18, 2024.


"This was a shocking death and we are yet to be completely out of the devastating effect it has created.



"Honourable Ekene was one of the board members  who was active and a promoter of grassroots sports," Engineer Nimrod said.



He said the vacuum left behind would be difficult to fill, however, expressed gratitude to God that while he lived, he touched a lot of lives positively.



Engineer Nimrod who is also the member representing North West as well as the President of Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF), prayed for the repose of his soul and for God to grant those he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.



It would be recalled that Honourable Ekene Adams, who until his death, represented Chikun/Kajuru Constituency in the House of Representatives, was also the Chairman of House Committee on Sports.
