2027: TIHSEPA Vows to Mobilise Health Workers for Tinubu

The Tinubu Health Sector Practitioners Alliance (TIHSEPA) has vowed to mobilise healthcare workers across the country to support President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid in 2027.

The National Coordinator of the group, Dr Ogechi Lokpobiri, said the alliance would intensify its engagement with medical professionals and other stakeholders following the President's campaign launch in Kaduna State.

Lokpobiri, who congratulated Tinubu on the event, described the turnout as encouraging, saying it had renewed the group's determination to expand its political mobilisation activities nationwide.

She said TIHSEPA would reach stakeholders in primary and secondary healthcare institutions, as well as other healthcare professionals, to promote the administration's Renewed Hope Agenda.

The coordinator said the group was targeting substantial support from the health sector and would work closely with practitioners to communicate the administration's health policies and interventions.

"President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda recognises that the health of Nigerians is fundamental to the country's productivity, prosperity and future," she said.

She listed healthcare infrastructure, professional training, maternal health and insurance coverage as areas of investment that could contribute to strengthening the country's health system.

Lokpobiri, wife of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, said the alliance remained committed to marketing the administration's achievements and securing support from health sector stakeholders.

She urged healthcare professionals to support Tinubu's second-term ambition, arguing that continuity would enable the government to consolidate ongoing reforms and sustain investments in the sector.
